PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
As my year as President of the Rotary Club of Homosassa Springs winds down I wanted everyone to know how much this past year has meant to me and how much I have grow as a Rotarian. I consider myself a "newer" member of Rotary so this has really been a year of learning about Rotary for me. Not knowing what to expect and with little knowledge of the business end of a Rotary club I was bit nervous about becoming president. Looking back at this past year I must admit that my fears were unfounded. Had I not become president I feel that I would have remained ignorant of how a Rotary club operates for many years to come (if not forever!). I would definitely recommend to any "new" Rotarian to throw your hat in the ring for President Elect. It is not as difficult as you think it and the rewards are great. Being President of a club as great as Homosassa's is not hard to do. We have members that work well together with a common focus and with support from folks like Assistant District Governor Ted Johnston and the other five Citrus County Presidents you may accidentally have some fun too!
I want to thank the members of my club and those at the district level that helped us have a successful year.
It has been a pleasure serving,
Nearly Past President,
Tom Feeney III
