A Message from the Club President

Greetings To All,

The Rotary Club of Homosassa Springs in the past has had some of the greatest leadership in all their ranks and as this years president and with the help of all these leaders we are going to have a trememdous up coming Rotary year.

Gregg Mackler our fund-raising guru has some great ideas for early Spring 2012 event that will bring the Homosassa Community big returns.  This is still a bit of a sectet to all of us but from the undergorund currents it sounds like a lots of fun for all.

Tom Feeney is working as our P/R person and has some of the most unique and interesting speakers lined up for us, so don't miss any meetings or you will wish you hadn't. Tom is working on a 2011 fund-raiser that is going to be a Jumbo event.

Membership rentention is in all the minds of all Rotarians but under the leadership of Gordon Smith new things are happening, we are going to start having one meeting on the lastThursday of each month at Creek Side Grille Restaurant on Hwy.19, Homosassa. Social hour at 5pm and meeting starts at 6pm bring spouses and a friend as this is to show that we are fun at work.

Chris Nast with his storng arm personality and hard way of working has taken the great task of our Sargent of Arms and will rule in this capacity ver gingerly, with only $$$ in his mind and mostly ours if we don't act correctly.  Chris creates great amount of fun in each meeting if you attend you will see him in action.

I'm very excited about the new  Rotary Year and with the help if people like our Vice President Gordon Smith, Past President David Worlton, President Elect Jim Behuniak, Assistant Governor Tom Feeney our Board of Directors and the membershipwe will have a Great Rotary Year!

This year will go by quick, but in this time I will domy best to Advance Rotary in our Community!
