A Message from the Club President

This is an exciting year for me as the new president of The Homosassa Springs Rotary Club. I have several goals for our club and myself for 2008-2009. The number one goal is to grow our membership. We are a relatively small club with 22 members. Most of our members are long time Homosassa Springs Rotarians or have been members of other Rotary Clubs for many years. We need new members to diversify our club and to bring new ideas so that we can grow as a club.

Although we are not the largest Rotary club in Citrus County in 2006-2007 we were one of the mightiest. We were number one in per capita giving in the district and we became a 100% Paul Harris fellow club. I want our club to keep striving to constantly improve over the previous years.

I also want to see our club participate more with the other four Rotary Clubs of Citrus County. There is definitely strength in numbers and whenever five clubs can pull together with a single goal in mind we can all succeed and prosper.
